QUICK NOTE: XFINITY.com is the place to be for all of your bug-eatin’, back-stabbin’, “Survivor” coverage. During the season we’ll have insightful weekly Power Rankings with Roark Luskin, exit interviews, and full episode recaps. Follow me on Twitter (@gordonholmes) for up-to-the-minute updates.

The Rules: Each week our two combatants will create separate power rankings. The ranking of the person who is voted out of the next episode will determine the number of points the players will earn. For example, if Kellyn is voted out this episode, Roark will receive two points and Gordon will receive three points. At the end of the season, the person with the most points will be named the “Survivor: Ghost Island” Power Rankings Challenge Champion.

Last Week: Roark had James in spot fourteen, while Gordon had him in spot twelve. The current score is Team Roark 53, Team Gordon 56.

Quick Note: Rankings are not based on who the player thinks is most likely to win. The smart strategy is to rank players based on how safe you think they are in the upcoming vote.

Roark’s Score: 53

1. Laurel: Laurel handles the Chris model confession like a champ. She is playing an exceptional social game and is not going home. It’s a fact. 1. Domenick: He’s packing an idol, he has four alliance members in a tribe of five, and he has a convenient target. He’ll be here next week.
2. Domenick: Dom remains safe. I really don’t have a lot to say on that matter. Everyone seems to like him. He’s super comfortable. He has an idol. Check, check, check. Dom is fine. 2. Kellyn: You’re on a sinking ship, but you’re in charge of what cargo gets jettisoned.
3. Kellyn: Kellyn still has tons of screen time and is in a position within current Malolo that I don’t see changing this week. I just can’t work out a scenario where the others are going to turn on her. 3. Laurel: There’s just something special about watching a master working with a tool.  Be it Hendrix with a guitar…Pujols with a bat…or Laurel with Chris. Simply amazing.
4. Wendell: Whereas everybody hates Chris, everybody loves Wendell. With a presumed target in Chris, and a tribe that seems very safe, Wendell is sitting pretty. Because he’s pretty. Hey Wendell. Still trying. 4. Wendell: What’s up, Probst? I’ll tell you what’s up; you’re killing this game. Between making peace with Chris, fixing your misstep in the challenge, and letting Sea Bass know you were thinking of him, you’re in an amazing spot. Maybe the Philly championship run goes Eagles, Villanova…Wendell…
5. Donathan: According to Dom, Donathan is his boy. That’s enough of an anointing to get him through to next week. 5. Sea Bass: Has a five-person tribe ever had this much challenge muscle? I think Yanuya is super safe this week. But, if they get clipped, nobody is targeting Sea Bass.
6. Sea Bass: I think Sea-bass is good because this tribe is good, but his early alliance with Chris versus Dom and Wendell makes it a possibility that he’s at risk. I say that, but I really think he’s fine. Because Chris is there. 6. Donathan: Mergeville can’t be too far away. I’ve gotta think we’re looking at a deep run for Don Don.
7. Desiree: Des is ascending – at least in terms of screen time. Luckily for her, original Naviti had her back because she pretty unforgivably blew that challenge. On the flip side – they can be pretty confident she won’t win immunity post-merge in any puzzle adjacent challenge. 7. Chelsea: Hey, stranger.
8. Jenna: None of the screen time this past week at Yanuya had to do with alliances or perceptions of people as threats. I strongly believe they aren’t going to Tribal. We just aren’t being set up for that. With that information alone, I think Jenna is safe. Besides that, not a lot of screen time to go off of. 8. Desiree: Oh…Desiree…that challenge…just…you know…I…uh… Yeah, that was pretty bad. Fortunately, you ended up on the right side of the numbers. You should be safe for a while, but maybe you should do a better job of judging your strengths.
9. Chelsea: Everyone needs to get a freaking grip – it is just coffee. Other than that, still utterly mystifed by this person. Where is she? Who likes her and who does she like? I have no ideas. 9. Chris: OK, the “tool” thing in Laurel’s entry was a little harsh. In all honestly, Chris is super cool in real life. And he’s gold on reality television. I hope he sticks around forever.
10. Angela: I wasn’t there, what do I know, but I do think Angela was get-able for Malolo last vote. She’s probably safe because these people are bleeding purple. Unless Kellyn, the fan of the current Malolo tribe, decides to get crafty and cut Angela loose before she becomes erratic post-merge and leaves the all-Naviti alliance. 10. Jenna: Your relationship with Sea Bass means there is never a bad time to target you. I think it’s possible Yunuya will never go to Tribal Council. And for your sake, I hope I’m right.
11. Chris: Chris is the best thing happening right now hands down. He reminds me of Kristin Wiig’s Penelope character. I need him to go very, very far. Sadly, I think Laurel is right, that if they lose he is quite screwed. 11. Bradley: What’s going on in last week’s preview, buddy? It doesn’t look good for you. Hopefully it’s a swerve.
12. Bradley: Bradley is a fan. Bradley is smart. Bradley knows exactly what he is doing in these confessionals. Bradley also seems to be in trouble – the “next week on” does not bode well for him. 12. Libby: Is Libby the devil with the body of an angel? James didn’t totally disagree when I talked to him last week. She needs a merge or friends and quick.
13. Libby: Because of his idol, anyone in Dom’s crosshairs is in trouble. Libby is definitely someone to be concerned about if Naviti loses next immunity.  13. Angela: I think the best thing you have working in your favor is how annoyed Kellyn seemed when she learned Wendell and Domenick had turned on you.
14. Michael: I’m keeping Michael on the bottom just because it’s been a rather dull Malolo Panonging the last few weeks. Not a big indication that that’ll switch up next week if this iteration of Malolo goes to tribal again. 14. Michael: I don’t think burning the tribe flag is going to help your tribe win immunity. You’re going to need to burn Chris, Sea Bass, Wendell, Laurel…
