The “Survivor: Tocantins” Power Rankings Challenge: Round 6

The Rules: Each week, “Survivor: Gabon” alumni and former Onion Alliance kingpin Charlie Herschel and your beloved “Survivor” recapper Gordon Holmes will create separate power rankings. The ranking of the person who is voted out of that Thursday’s episode will determine the amount of points the two combatants will earn. For example, if Coach is voted out this week, Charlie will receive 8 points and Gordon will receive 9 points. At the end of the season, the person with the most points will be named the “Survivor: Tocantins” Power Rankings Challenge Champion.

Last Episode: Gordon and Charlie finally agreed on something as they both had Joe (and his leg) in the 10th spot. The current score is Gordon 48, Charlie 50.

Current Score: 48

Stephen: The big question this week is whether it’ll be the Exile Alliance or the Dragon Slaying Orchestrators that dominates. Stephen will pull the strings and everyone will think he’s following JT. Brilliant.

2

7

JT: Stephen is doing a masterful job leading JT around and JT doesn’t even know it. Fortunately for JT, Stephen’s steering him in the right directions.

3

3

Deb: You kind of forget Deb’s in this game, don’t you? If the game gets ugly, she could really benefit from staying under the radar.

4

4

Taj: Taj still seems to be in with JT and Stephen, but where will she fit into the plans if they join Team Coach?

5

6

Tyson: I wonder if Tyson made a mistake winning the individual immunity last week. He didn’t need it, and he doesn’t need to draw attention to how physically strong he is.

6

5

Erinn: Who knows where Erinn stands right now? Her vote doesn’t seem that important as whoever wins the tug of war will have a numbers advantage without her.

7

1

Sierra: Sierra drops a ton in the rankings this week, because she could be the casualty of Brendan’s immunity idol, and I had no clue how much Tyson disliked her.

8

8

Brendan: If Team Taj bails on the Exile Alliance, it’s all Brendan’s fault. The second he got Taj alone, he should have let her know that the deal was still on.

9

9

Coach: This is a tough pick. But I think JT and Stephen would rather face Brendan than Coach and Tyson in physical challenges. Yes, that’s all I’m basing this on.

Current Score: 50

Stephen: He’s in every alliance and he has fantastic bug eyes.  I am nervous that the other contestants may become hip to his game (although no signs of that yet).  Playing too many sides can be dangerous.

2

5

Taj: Taj doesn’t have control over this game, but I think that’s actually a good thing for her at this point, especially since she does have some solid alliances.

3

3

Tyson: Tyson looks like he has endeared himself to the former Jalapaos.  WHAT A RELIEF?!

4

4

Erinn: Erinn is one of those players who may get very far in this game because of her failure to form alliances and genuine friendship–she’ll never appear threatening enough to get rid of.  Ugh-…that annoys me.

5

6

Deb: Still safe, but no chance in hell is Debbie going to win.  NO CHANCE.

6

1

Sierra: Being aligned with Brendan may bring her down.  If Forza executes the split-vote plan set up last episode, Sierra is dunzo if Brendan plays the idol.

7

7

JT: If the former Timbira stick together this week, which I don’t think they will, JT will be gone.  If he survives this week, I think Stephen can protect him for a while longer.

8

8

Coach: It’s time to get rid of Coach.  COME ON!  Unfortunately, I don’t think the former Jalapao think Coach is as big a turd as most of the viewers think he is.

9

9

Brendan: AAAAH!  Brendan got a case of the Ozzy / Marcus overconfidence.  He is failing to recognize that he is one of nine and he needs to blend in and control this game with other people, not just by himself.  Blindside and idol flushed.
