Which WWE Royal Rumble Winner Has Taken the Most Finishers?

January 28, 2017

royalrumbleIt’s January, which means it’s time for WWE fans across the world to prep for the Royal Rumble by watching every past edition of the event.

(We all do that, right?)

Anywho, I was watching the part in the 2004 edition where the Big Show gets hit by everyone’s finishers and I thought, “In wrestling reality, you can only survive a few finishers unless it’s Wrestlemania or you’re Kurt Angle. Big Show should have been stretchered out.”

Then I thought, it’d be interesting to see which winner has taken the most finishers during their time in the ring. To see what degree of punishment they went through.

Unfortunately, I was wrong. It’s not that interesting. But, here it is anyways…

Note: This write-up is not even close to being scientifically accurate. The camera isn’t always on the winner. So, someone could’ve snuck one in there. Also, I don’t know what Chainz or Timothy Well’s finishers were. Also, I’m not always the most observant person. In short, don’t use this list to settle any bets.

Syfy Celebrates ‘The Magicians’ Season 2 with Enchanting ‘Hall of Magic’ Exhibit

January 25, 2017

Outside Syfy’s ‘Hall of Magic’ (XFINITY)

Syfy’s “The Magicians” tells the tale of Brakebills College, a school for aspiring sorcerers that is hidden somewhere in New York City. Only an elite-level of talent is admitted into this institution and as Julia Wicker will tell you, the entry exam is a doozy.

So basically, if they don’t want you to find this place…you ain’t gonna find it.

Fortunately, to celebrate this Wednesday’s premiere of the second season of “The Magicians,” Syfy is inviting everyone, magically inclined or not, to check out this legendary academy.

Dubbed the “Hall of Magic,” this interactive look at the world of “The Magicians” boasts ten rooms of illusions that seem to have been lifted straight from the imagination of the show’s creators.

I attended a sneak preview this past Thursday evening and was treated to displays of battle magic, telepathy, levitation, street magic, and more. Add to that the faithful recreations of the library, classrooms, and even the Fillory and you have an event that is definitely worth the trip for fans of “The Magicians.”

Pro Tip: Be sure to bring your phone as there are dozens of Instragram-worthy moments. I don’t want to give too much away, but the Infinity Boxes are amazing…

The “Hall of Magic” is open from now until Sunday, January 29, 2017. It is located at 55 Wythe Ave in Brooklyn, NY. For tickets, visit www.hallofmagicnyc.com.

Don’t miss the season 2 premiere of “The Magicians,” this Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 9 p.m. ET.
