The premiere of “Survivor: Kaoh Rong” is this Wednesday! To celebrate the show’s return and the most romantic day of the year (and my half birthday), I’ve put together some “Survivor”-themed Valentine’s cards to get everyone in the mood…

I know what you’re thinking, “Hey Gordon, why is Stephen’s exit interview on your personal blog?” Well, there are some technical difficulties with the XFINITY blogs at the moment, so this will have to do.
Did the announcement of the return of the “Survivor” Hall of Fame break the blogs? Possibly.
What I can say is; we might be here for a little while. But that’s OK, cause it’s cozy. So, enjoy this nifty little chat and then be sure to cast your vote for the “Survivor” Hall of Fame Class of 2015.
No kid likes going to the doctor’s office. It’s boring, it’s stuffy, and odds are you’re going to end up getting some kind of gross medication (or worse, a shot!) The only good thing about those check-ups was getting to read “Highlights” Magazine in the waiting room.
Now, I’m sure kids these days have their iPwns and their Nintendo Wii U Xboxes to entertain them. But back in my day, we had to keep ourselves busy with those cool Hidden Picures puzzles.
So, in honor of “Survivor” busting out a special two-hour episode this Wednesday, I’ve decided to try my own twist on those Hidden Pictures puzzles…
Where does the time go? It seems like just yesterday that I was predicting that Spencer and Tony would be the first ones eliminated from “Survivor: Cagayan.” And now here I am, prepping a finale bingo that features the two of them heavily.

Gah! I apologize for this taking so long, but between the holidays and some other events, there’s been a lot of life going on.
I’d like to congratulate Kim Spradlin, John Cochran, and Jonny Fairplay for their well-deserved inductions. And, I definitely want to thank everyone who made this year’s induction so successful. That includes all of the executive committee voters, my vote counting team, the good folks at CBS, and anyone who took the time to send in a vote.
Oh, c’mon…you didn’t think I was going to spend all this time writing recaps, dominating the Power Rankings, conducting exit interviews, counting Hall of Fame votes, reaching out to Executive Committee Members, ordering thank you gifts, sending out thank you gifts, creating a very impressive Excel spreadsheet, being berated by the “Survivor” fan base, and forget to do “Survivor” Finale Bingo did ya?

Whenever the topic of worthy one-timers comes up, Cook Islands champ (spoiler alert!) Yul Kwon is always a popular pick. However, many seem to think his (spoiler alert!) over-powered immunity idol should count against him. With this re-watch, I hope to get to the bottom of that mystery.
And with that, let’s get started…
