‘Big Brother’ Power Rankings – Deja-Vu Edition

September 16, 2014

'Big Brother' (CBS)

The Rules: Each week our two combatants will create separate power rankings. The ranking of the person who is voted out of the next episode will determine the number of points the two players will earn. For example, if Victoria is voted out this week, Rachel will receive 4 points and Team XFINITY will receive 3 points. At the end of the season, the person with the most points will be named the “Big Brother” Power Rankings Challenge Champion!

 1. Caleb – Caleb is safest this week as HOH, however he has a week to make some deals and use his HOH to make a big move… and the smartest move for his game ISN’T to get Frankie out! Cody, Derrick, and Victoria want to be final three which leaves Caleb the last man standing next week and with him not being able to play in an HOH next week he REALLY needs to be smart! He could target Cody and try to make a deal with Frankie OR he could ensure that Victoria goes home this week and make a deal with Frankie. Basically Cody and Derrick are super close and Victoria is a great person to bring to final two…so that means Caleb needs to play this hand well or he’s out next week.
  1. Caleb – You watching, Amber? Beast Mode is over you. He’s moved on to Mila Kunis. I hope you “Heard dat!” Caleb learned from his past HOH challenge mistakes and did not repeat them. He’s livin’ large in the nest-shaped bed and he put his buddy Frankie on the block. Is that a big enough move to earn the jurors respect? We shall see.
 2. Derrick – Derrick is safe because…well…it’s Derrick. Enough said!   2. Cody – OK, let’s talk about the rewind. I thought they were going to replay the whole week during the show. I was actually really excited about that. So, to learn that we’d have to replay the whole week in real-time, the same challenges, etc. was a bit of a letdown. Having to re-do Power Rankings was also a letdown. However, Cody going back into the dinosaur costume outweighs all of that bad.
 3. Cody – Cody is safe since he is BFF with Derrick and for some reason thinks that him playing backseat all season to Derrick’s game can keep him around. Well, when Frankie’s in the house it will, but will Derrick pick Victoria over Cody next week if Caleb wins veto? These are my predictions, but the way the game is playing out it seems that Frankie will go home this week, Caleb next, and Victoria, Cody, and Derrick will be final three!
  3. Victoria – Right now I’m thinking there is no way Victoria is going home. She is a guaranteed $500,000 check for whoever takes her to the end. I’m thinking either Frankie wins the POV and saves himself or Frankie loses and the guys send him packing. Either way, the person sitting next to Victoria is in major trouble.

 4. Victoria – Victoria is safe unless Caleb wises up and realizes that she’s going to be taken to the final two so he SHOULD take her out now and make a deal.  Vic soooo shouldn’t be in the game now but since it’s “Big Brother” the person who shouldn’t be in the game at this point usually stays in the game since it’s the smartest thing for the person who wants to win
  4. DerrickDerrick has done a really good job shielding how good of a game he’s been playing, but I don’t remember any of the jurors dissing him when they came back into the house. Someone has to pick up on how well he’s playing and how well-liked he is by the jury. A Frankie POV win could spell the end for the season’s best player.
 5. Frankie – Frankie is in a GRANDE-size SITUATION! After his gameplay last week he basically nailed his coffin for this week. He’s too competitive to not be considered a threat and too social for people to want to keep him around. Basically he’s the guy to beat right now and he’s on the block so unless he wins Veto he’s going home. 😦
 5. Frankie – Frankie’s got to see it coming, doesn’t he? There’s no reason to make Frankie a pawn when Derrick has never been on the block. If he doesn’t win POV, he’s a goner.

‘Big Brother’ Power Rankings – Be Kind, Rewind Edition

September 9, 2014

'Big Brother' (CBS)

The Rules: Each week our two combatants will create separate power rankings. The ranking of the person who is voted out of the next episode will determine the number of points the two players will earn. For example, if Frankie is voted out this week, Rachel will receive 1 point and Team XFINITY will receive 5 points. At the end of the season, the person with the most points will be named the “Big Brother” Power Rankings Challenge Champion!

Last Week: Rachel and Brian Gianelli both had Nicole in spot seven. Rachel had Christine in spot six, Brian had her in spot five. So, the current score is Team Rachel 112, Team XFINITY 106.

 1. Frankie – Frankie is safest since he won HOH but the house hit the reset so he may make it this week but be a target the next.
  1. Caleb – So, with the Rewind button in play, we’re ranking based off of…nothing! Everything will be reset! This is like “Survivor” rankin’! Color me giddy! Exclamation points! Anywho, no matter who ends up taking over the nest-shaped bed, the “Dagum” Beast-Mode Cowboy is probably safe. (Also, bonus points for his “Major Payne” impersonation.)
 2. Derrick – Frankie’s bro and BFF is safe because he didn’t nominate Frankie during the double eviction.
  2. Derrick – I heard Nicole complimenting his game and I knew she was a goner. Another in a looooong list of smart moves from Derrick. A possible liability is gone, it wasn’t his fault, and she’ll totally vote for him. Not only that, but she’ll probably convince Hayden to vote for him too. So good. Right now the only way Derrick doesn’t get to the final two is if Frankie is the one making the call.
 3. Caleb – Caleb is safer then Cody this week only because Frankie and Cody haven’t formed a bond as tightly as Caleb and Frankie. But, if the veto is won by Cody it’s most likely Caleb being the replacement.
  3. Cody – Let’s say the rewind button was never pushed and the POV wasn’t used. It’d take either Derrick or Caleb voting to send Cody home. I just don’t see it. It isn’t in either guy’s best interest.

 4. Victoria – Victoria is safe because, well, she’s Victoria. I actually didn’t realize someone could be so bad at the game in all ways and almost guarantee themselves $50k.  Sweet deal she has going on.
  4. Victoria – I’m convinced the only reason you were cast on this show was to scream when Ariana Grande was mentioned.
 5. Cody – Cody is at the bottom this week but if he wins veto he’ll stay another week and probably go after Frankie in the rewind. Heck, even if he’s voted out he stays and will go after Frankie.
 5. Frankie – I really hope the camera is in tight on Frankie’s face when that countdown clock hits zero. Hilarious. However, I don’t want to take anything away from Frankie. The guy’s a challenge machine and he’s the only one who realizes how big of a threat Derrick is. If the Hitmen have a shot this week, they should take it.

‘Survivor: San Juan del Sur – Blood vs. Water’ Cast Revealed

August 27, 2014

'Survivor' (CBS)

NOTE: XFINITY TV is the place to be for all sorts of “Survivor: San Juan del Sur” fun. On Mondays we’ll have Power Rankings with “Survivor: Cagayan” favorite Spencer Bledsoe. On Wednesday evenings we’ll bring you a recap of the most recent episode. And, every Thursday you’ll be able to watch the previous night’s episode and read an interview with the eliminated contestant. Be sure to follow me on Twitter (@gordonholmes) for immediate updates.

Last year, the crew behind the hit reality show “Survivor” took a handful of former players, paired them with a loved one, and threw 5,000 twists at them. The concept was called “Blood vs. Water” and it seemed like a disaster on paper. In reality, the mix of strong personalities, interesting strategies, and unexpected moments resulted in one of the best seasons of all time.

Now they’re rolling the dice again with a couple of  major changes. First of all, none of the castaways have ever played the game before. And second, the Redemption Island component, which had resulted in tears, arguments, and Colton Cumbie straight up quitting, has been tossed aside. When you’re voted out at Tribal Council, you’re done.

“Survivor: San Juan del Sur – Blood vs. Water ” Premieres Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.

The cast for this upcoming season was released by CBS this afternoon and includes a controversial former MLB pitcher, like a dozen firefighters, and a duo that “Amazing Race” fans will find very familiar…

Age:
47
Relationship to Significant Castaway:
Baylor’s mother
Current Residence:
Dallas, TX
Occupation:
Owner of a Competitive Cheerleading Gym
Personal Claim to Fame:
My business is a HUGE accomplishment.  I was never a cheerleader, never had taken out a loan before 1998 when I opened the doors and certainly had no idea what it would take to be “on” 24×7 with really no “off” hours.  I have a new respect for restaurant owners because my business takes blood, sweat, and tears just like that profession.
Pet Peeves:
People who conform to a standard without knowing the facts, people who play the victim, snoring, poor hygiene, bad teeth, infidelity, valet parking in the Highland Park village.

Three Words to Describe You: Entertaining, determined and passionate.
Reason for Being on “Survivor”:  I want to compete with myself, first and foremost to be an all-around better me.
Why You Think You’ll Survive “Survivor”:  I am athletic, strong-willed and competitive.
Why You Think You Will Be the Sole “Survivor”:  I believe that I am secure and confident enough in myself to not let others’ attitudes, comments, or situations affect me.
What Does It Mean to You to Play “Survivor” with Your Loved One?  It means more than anyone will ever be able to understand or grasp. The level of commitment and love my mom and I have before going into this journey is already ridiculously high, so knowing we will have each other through this game of “Survivor,” I believe our bond and trust can never be broken. Even if we’re starving, miserable, and literally fighting to survive.

What Does It Mean to You to Play “Survivor” with Your Loved One? Getting to be on “Survivor” with Nadiya means so much to me.  No matter what we are doing, Nadiya and I have so much fun; whether we are working together or competing against each other!  Doing something this intense and getting to share it with my twinnie is something I will never forget.

Reason for Being on “Survivor”:  The million dollars but I also feel my personality, body type and mind set is perfect for this game.
Why You Think You’ll Survive “Survivor”:  I will help out around camp gathering wood for fires or shelter and getting coconuts.  I will also be a monster at physical challenges.
Why You Think You Will Be the Sole “Survivor”:  I believe my whole make up is prime for this game.  I don’t need to eat much, I am athletic, and I am likeable.  I also can make people feel like I like them even if I don’t which will help in blindsides.
What Does It Mean to You to Play “Survivor” with Your Loved One? Playing with my loved one would be stressful and emotional.  I know it is going to be tough out there and I will worry about my wife being hungry, cold, and tired.
Name: Val Collins
Age: 35
Relationship to Significant Castaway: Jeremy’s wife
Current Residence: Foxboro, MA
Occupation: Police Officer
Personal Claim to Fame: My family.
Pet Peeves: Liars.

“Survivor” Contestant You Are Most Like: Monica and Taj.
Reason for Being on “Survivor”:  Winning!
Why You Think You’ll Survive “Survivor”:  I have mental toughness, I’m strong and I’m patient.
Why You Think You Will Be the Sole “Survivor”: I have the mental toughness.  I respect the game.  You need to respect the game to play it.  I know how to play the social game and will pay attention to opponents’ advantages before they realize them and use them as options.
What Does It Mean to You to Play “Survivor” with Your Loved One?  I am excited to play the game with Jeremy but our game will probably be different and that will be hard because I may have to change my game and go against my gut based on his instinct. Playing with a loved one brings emotions to the game right from the beginning. You have to watch their back just as much.
Name: Jon Misch
Age:
26
Relationship to Significant Castaway:
Jaclyn’s boyfriend
Current Residence:
Waterford, MI
Occupation:
Financial Assistant
Personal Claim to Fame:
Winning a Big 10 championship at Michigan State University.
Pet Peeves:
People with too many pet peeves.
Three Words to Describe You:
Outgoing, unpredictable, and intuitive.
“Survivor” Contestant You Are Most Like:
Hayden.  I feel my personality is a lot like his and he’s also an athlete that uses his head.
Reason for Being on “Survivor”:
The experience and the competition.  It’s unique and completely social which would be fun to experience.

Why You Think You Will Be the Sole “Survivor”:
I have very good social and physical skills.  I can read people well and I’m good at telling them what they need to hear.
What Does It Mean to You to Play “Survivor” with Your Loved One?
Playing with Jaclyn is an incredible opportunity.  I’ve learned in the past that experiencing adversity with others can build the relationship you have together (if you do it correctly). Since there is no experience like that of “Survivor,” there’s no telling the amount that can be gained by triumphing through the challenges that present themselves on a daily basis, let alone those found in treemail!
Name: Jaclyn Schultz
Age: 25
Relationship to Significant Castaway: Jon’s girlfriend
Current Residence: Las Vegas, NV
Occupation: Media Buyer
Personal Claim to Fame: Winning the title of Miss Michigan USA 2013, the first pageant I ever competed in and using the platform to be the first woman to ever come out with having MRKH syndrome (born without a uterus) on an international scale. MRKH syndrome affects one in approximately 4,500 women around the world.
Pet Peeves: Waiting in line.
Three Words to Describe You: Spontaneous, loyal, and versatile.
“Survivor” Contestant You Are Most Like: Jefra
Reason for Being on “Survivor”: To challenge myself socially, mentally, and physically.  Also, to win the million dollars to be able to adopt and have a surrogate to start a family.
Why You Think You’ll Survive “Survivor”:  I am a survivor in my everyday life because I was diagnosed with a life-altering syndrome at 16 and didn’t let it destroy me.  Being told I wasn’t “normal” and could never have kids was the last thing I wanted to hear at that age.  I’ve learned to try and turn every negative into a positive and that life will always throw hard things at you, but it’s how you handle those obstacles that matter the most.
What Does It Mean to You to Play “Survivor” with Your Loved One? Jon and I get to experience something that only three or four couples ever have. Blood vs. Water seems to be so much harder than playing as an individual because we have to learn how to maneuver through this social and physical game together. Our sole purpose of being on this show is to challenge ourselves, but to also win to start a family by adoption or surrogacy.
Name: John Rocker
Age: 39
Current Residence: Atlanta, GA
Occupation: Former Major League Baseball Player
Pet Peeves: Rude, lazy, selfish people and traffic.
Three Words to Describe You: Intense, self-motivating, and responsible.
“Survivor” Contestant You Are Most Like: Jeff Kent because we have a similar background as an MLB player.  We have a strong understanding of teamwork but are also very driven to attain individual success though Jeff is a bit more subdued than I am.
Reason for Being on “Survivor”:  To have an extremely unique life experience and to immerse myself in high-level competition and like I’ve done my entire life, figure out a way to be the best.
Why You Think You’ll Survive “Survivor”:  I have world class athletic abilities and leadership skills.  I have the ability to read people and morph my personality in a way that lets me mesh with people from all walks of life.
Why You Think You Will Be the Sole “Survivor”: A relatively significant part of “Survivor” depends on athletic ability and I spent more than a decade of my life physically competing at the highest level.  I still retain much of that physical ability as well as the mental toughness that is required.  I also possess a high quality of outdoor survival skills which will be valuable to those around me as well as leadership skills and the ability to influence people and easily make friends.
What Does It Mean to You to Play “Survivor” with Your Loved One?  To me, playing “Survivor” with my loved one means having the opportunity to engage in a very unique experience together.  Life is about creating new experiences which many times can bind individuals together on a more intimate level.  I am hoping that “Survivor” will do this for Julie and me.

Atlanta, GA

People that take life too serious, road rage, arrogance, and super demanding people.
Three Words to Describe You:
Loyal, determined and positive.
“Survivor” Contestant You Are Most Like:
Colleen Haskell because I think we both are extremely sweet to others around and by this she was able to make allies without being manipulative.
Reason for Being on “Survivor”:
The experience and for the possibilities of future “Survivor” shows.  I would love to compete more than once.
Why You Think You’ll Survive “Survivor”:
I am the most observant person.  I’m told by everyone that knows me that I can figure out someone’s state of mind and intentions within minutes.  I’ll bring that strong instinct to the game to help my team win.
Why You Think You Will Be the Sole “Survivor”:
I am super determined when I put my mind to a task.  I am not one to look for help, if I need something, I make it happen.  I believe I could be one of the last few on the show.
What Does It Mean to You to Play “Survivor” with Your Loved One?
The game will allow us to use the difficult nature of the experience to dig deeper into our relationship.  I know it will be challenging both physically and mentally but I’m happy to be sharing this new journey with John.
Name: Dale Wentworth
Age: 55
Relationship to Significant Castaway: Kelley’s father

Pet Peeves: People who never return phone calls.
Three Words to Describe You: Active, outgoing, and adventurous.
“Survivor” Contestant You Are Most Like: Big Tom…I have to side with a farmer!
Reason for Being on “Survivor”:  To spend time with my daughter on a new adventure and the challenge of seeing how far I can go in the game.
Why You Think You’ll Survive “Survivor”:  I’m a self-starter that can get along with most anyone.  I work hard and I am very good at using my hands.  I’ve built homes, repaired all sorts of equipment, and I am not afraid of hard work or getting dirty.
Why You Think You Will Be the Sole “Survivor”:  All my life I have been faced with everything possible; weather, breakdowns, etc.  My family and I can usually find a way to improvise a way to survive and still be able to achieve my goals.
What Does It Mean to You to Play “Survivor” with Your Loved One?  To be given the opportunity to play this game with my daughter is almost indescribable. I am looking forward to being able to watch her in settings that I may not get to see again and hopefully watch her excel in them.  I’ll have to move past the image of her being my “little girl” to her having grown into a confident proud woman, one that can handle herself in any situation that life can throw at her, and know that she will come out on top, or at the least, throw some “mean punches” on the way as she will never quit trying, no matter what.  I think we will build a deeper and stronger bond together after playing “Survivor.”
Name: Kelley Wentworth
Age: 28
Relationship to Significant Castaway:  Dale’s daughter
Current Residence: Seattle, WA
Occupation: Marketing Manager
Personal Claim to Fame:  Moving out of a small town with very little opportunity of “making it” on my own.  I’ve never asked for money or help and moved my way up to the position I’m in now.  I’ll never stop trying!
Pet Peeves: Lazy people, overconfidence, not sticking to your word, bad drivers ,and angry people (get over it already!)
Three Words to Describe You: Competitive, reliable, and stubborn.
“Survivor” Contestant You Are Most Like:  Parvati – she’s a strong, intelligent woman who did what she had to do to get to the top.
Reason for Being on “Survivor”:  To win, of course! I’d also like to prove to myself and my dad that I can do it.  To push myself and never give up in the toughest situations.
Why You Think You’ll Survive “Survivor”:  I grew up on a farm so I’ve seen and done it all.  I’ve fed cows, cleaned up poop, driven a tractor, hauled fire wood, and the list goes on.  I’m also very competitive and would never give up in a challenge.
Why You Think You Will Be the Sole “Survivor”:  I’m competitive and I’ll never back down.  I’ll always keep trying to move to the next step and I’m not afraid to fib a little or hurt people to be at the top.  Everything I’ve ever tried to do in life I’ve succeeded so I know I can do this too.
What Does It Mean to You to Play “Survivor” with Your Loved One? There is no perfect word to describe how it would be to play “Survivor” with my Dad. We’ve had many ups and downs over the past few years and I would love for this unique opportunity to improve our Father/Daughter bond.  He is truly the only person I would want to do this with!

 1. Cody – As reigning HOH this week, Cody is the safest! He could make a big move and try to put up a strong male threat like Caleb or Frankie…but alas, he probably won’t. And it could cost him a win in the game…playing Derrick’s game.
  1. Cody – Good news: You’re the HOH in a week where the block picks are obvious and you probably won’t suffer too much for them. Bad news: You can’t win HOH next week when the Detonators could finally explode. You’d better hope for a Derrick HOH win.
 2. Derrick – Derrick is probably the second most safe! Lets just put this out there, UNLESS someone notices soon, Derrick is going to win the whole thing!
  2. Derrick – I stand by my belief that Derrick is playing the best game. He seems to have all of the angles covered.
 3. Christine – Christine is Cody’s showmance and flirtmance and basically thinks he’s the best thing since sliced bread and does whatever he says.  So, she’s pretty safe this week. She will throw a comp and vote the way the boys tell her to, but will she just sit back and let them win 500k? Only time will tell.
  3. Frankie – I’m not ready to talk about you, Frankie. I’m still mourning the loss of Zankie.

 4. Victoria – AGAIN Victoria is safe since well…who wants to get her out at this point? She’s worthless at comps and has a horrible social game so anyone that brings her to final two is guaranteed a win.  Which means VICTORCIA MAY MAKE 50k this summer for being cast on the show. Uggggghhhhh!
  4. Caleb – I’m not sure how it happened, but it seems like Frankie is a bigger threat than Caleb. The Stealth-Mode Cowboy has become a bit of an afterthought. Could he sneak in and win the whole thing from the less-famous Grande sibling?
 5. Caleb – Caleb is friends with Cody and listens to what the boys say. Also Caleb is one of Derrick’s minions. So, Derrick has final say in all HOHs which means Caleb will be safe again this week. If Caleb wanted to he could use his beast mode skills to take out Derrick and Cody and make a new alliance, but I doubt this will happen. 😦
 5. Christine – Christine might be in the best spot right now. When the dominant alliance splits up you’re going to have Cody and Derrick on one side and Frankie and Caleb on the other. Victoria will go with Cody and Derrick, and she might be able to call her shot based on who’s HOH. Should be interesting.
 6. Frankie – Frankie is safe because Donny and Nicole are still in the house. But if he wants to win the game, he’s been playing all the wrong cards. He would need to take Caleb and Nicole and start now to push out Derrick, Christine, and Cody. Maybe we can hope it’ll happen?
  6. Victoria – Kathy Griffin just gift wrapped a big hint for you in a hilarious package…and it went right over your head. Sigh… You are not playing this game. You are relaxing in your cozy spot in Derrick’s pocket.
 7. Nicole – Nicole is going to be fighting a battle til’ she’s voted out of the house.  At this point, she’s too good of a player for the boys to want to keep around. Unless she can win every veto and pull Frankie and Caleb to her side, she’ll be the next to go.  No one can win every comp, sadly!
  7. Nicole – Nicole’s back in the game! She’s gonna mix things up! Look out dominant alliance! She’s come to kick butt and chew bubblegum! She…she’s the first one out of the HOH competition…and she’s on the block…and she’d be a goner if people weren’t terrified of Donny.  Welp…some twists fall flat. This seems like it’s one of them.
 8. Donny – Donny is the lowest man of the bunch and too nice to say or do anything to throw people under the bus, even if it means sacrificing his own game! 😦 Sad to say looks like the house will be a little less country next week. WE WILL MISS YOU, DONNY!
 8. Donny – Donny’s been on the block forever, and it looks like his time has finally come. He can sneak into Cody’s bedroom at the crack of dawn all he wants, but it’s a little too soon for the Detonators to turn on each other. If he can’t pull off another POV victory, he’s a goner.

 1. Frankie – Reigning HOH Frankie is safest again this week! With Frankie in power a Detonators or Bomb Squad guy is safe! HOWEVER they have an alliance of 6 in a house of 8! SO SOMEONE HAS TO MAKE A MOVE SOON!
  1. Frankie – I’ve never heard an Ariane Grande song, but she’s already my least favorite pop star.  The condescending manner with which Frankie revealed his big secret has turned me off to her forever. Ugh… Anywho, he’s safe for this week, but if everyone really does think he’s the most popular player, they should get rid of him quick.
 2. Derrick – Derrick is probably the second most safe even though. He should be first out! Frankie should make a move now to get out Derrick or Derrick is going to win this whole thing!
  2. Donny – How on Earth is Donny still in this game? A nuclear bomb could hit the “Big Brother” house and all that would be left is Donny and a handful of cockroaches. Love him.
 3. Donny – Donny won BOTB with Christine, and he won it alone since Christine was passing bones to the boys in the other team. UGGGH WE ARE ALL SO PROUD OF DONNY! He always saves himself, now WIN AN HOH DONNY AND KICK THESE BOYS OUT!
  3. Christine – Well…at least you actively tried to throw the challenge unlike Caleb.

 4. Christine – Christine is safe since she won BOTB with Donny. I half wish she wasn’t so that she could go home this week just because of what dumb moves she’s made in the game. However since she’s still in the game I guess her moves haven’t been that dumb… but we will see how the guys treat her. I think she’ll get Brigaded!
  4. Derrick – The way Derrick defused the Zach/Victoria thing was masterful. He’s clearly the smartest person in the house and the best player.
 5. Victoria – Valerie…ahem…Victoria is safe because well she’s still in the game? Even the boys say why get rid of her at this point, she doesn’t really talk and since Derrick has her wrapped around his finger there’s no way he’ll let her go home yet…
 5. Zach – It was probably smart to kiss and make up with Frankie. The last thing you need is someone in your alliance openly targeting you. That being said, it’s time for Frankie to go home. He’s proven he can’t be trusted and he’s got a killer story for the end of the game.
 6. Zach – Zach is always at the bottom of the boys alliance and with his outbursts they don’t care if he’s around… WHAT WILL WE DO WITHOUT ZANKIE!?!?! That’s the important question…
  6. Victoria – Someone’s going to win the POV competition, and you’re the only person that can be nominated without rustling feathers. (“Survivor” joke)
 7. Cody – Cody isn’t going anywhere, let’s just put that out there. They wont vote him out as long as he smiles and takes off his shirt and acts like he can’t do anything. Cody is like Victoria but has a better six pack!
  7. Caleb – I hate to say this, but the Beast Mode Cowboy is starting to grow on me. I don’t know if it’s the recently shaved head or how proud he is of creating the biggest alliance in the history of the world, but he cracks me up. Hopefully he can POV his way out of this mess.
 8. Caleb – Caleb’s beast mode may be in trouble since he’s proven he can win at comps and can’t be controlled. Derrick has set his minions up pretty well and since Caleb is one of his followers it may save him but he has to convince Frankie to get his closest ally out of the house. DON’T DO ANYTHING CRAZY, FRANKIE!
 8. Cody – Cody the Cuddler should be high on everyone’s elimination list. He’s in the dominant alliance as well as 47 other minor alliances and isn’t on anyone’s bad side. Next to Donny, he’s most likely to win. Send him home.

Team XFINITY’s Score = 75

Any advice for Gordon? Drop him a line on Twitter: @gordonholmes

 1. Christine – As reigning HOH, Christine is in control of the house and stepping up her game… now if ONLY she would step up her social skills and realize that she is totally going to get bomb squad/detonator/ blown up if she doesn’t make a side alliance ASAP!
  1. Christine – Even without being the reigning HOH, Christine is probably the safest person in the house. But, she’s got to be thinking about end-game at this point. Who can she beat? Caleb? Probably. Derrick or Cody? Probably not. Victoria? Definitely. Might be smart to keep her around.
 2. Caleb – Even though Beast-Mode Cowboy threw the competition he won Battle of the Block and is safe… how much longer is he going to be safe especially when he is sitting out of competitions? We are all confused how he’s still in the game but when the house is run by Derrick and he is a loyal follower he will most likely be around longer.   2. Frankie – I’d never heard of Ariana Grande before I started watching this season. I don’t know any of her music. I’ve never seen any of her videos (do pop stars still make videos?). But because of her brother and his way of leeching off of her fame, I can’t stand her. I’m hoping she’s less the next Boyz II Men and more the next Shai.
 3. Frankie – Frankie won Battle of the Block so he is safe and he also won Battle of the Block alone so I give him a lot of credit! He just has a lot of game to catch up on…
  3. Caleb – Alright, Beast-Mode Cowboy. You were supposed to throw the challenge. By sitting out of the challenge, you kind of gave Frankie an advantage. You see, the chain pulling required delicate maneuvering. That’s something that’s easier for one brain to figure out, than for two brains to try to communicate. It was good drama, but it was a dumb move.

 4. Derrick – Derrick is BFF with Christine and for some reason she thinks he is so smart! We’re not sure if this friendship is real but Derrick is playing such a good game I want to align with him! Derrick is playing by far the best game, actually he is the only one playing a good game… and he’s running the game and no one cares!
  4. Cody – Cody is just kind of there. He doesn’t bother anybody. He doesn’t come up often in people’s plans. But, he’s in control of like 40 alliances. He’s got to be the favorite to win right now.
 5. Cody – Cody is caught in the middle…he’s friends with everyone but not making any moves and not winning anything and not really doing anything but as long as he takes his shirt off there’s no logical reason to vote him out. #eyecandy LET’S BE REAL!
  5. Derrick – As a first-time viewer of “Big Brother,” it looks like Derrick is playing the best game. But, other people have to be noticing that, right? Surely they’re setting him up for an end-of-the-game blindside.
 6. Victoria – Wait, is she still in the house? No one really knows…

  6. Nicole – The good news is; the ‘Froot Loop Dingus’ is finally playing. All it took was her boyfriend getting voted out of the house. The bad news is; she’s on Frankie’s bad side…and Christine’s…and she’s going to have friends on the jury. Might be time to send her packing.
 7. Nicole – Nicole may not be on the block but girl’s got attitude and hell hath NO fury like a woman scorned, especially when that woman is alone in the house. If she makes it this week she will continue to be a target but I have faith she’s going to ROCK IT OUT! Nicole is fierce! She is in this game to win and she will fight til’ the house evicts her. WATCH OUT HOUSE!
  7. Victoria – Here’s where “Survivor” differs from “Big Brother.” On “Survivor,” they’d pick off all of the threats and leave Victoria for last. On “Big Brother” the HOHs don’t want to get blood on their hands, so they constantly target the person who isn’t threatening. With Jocasta gone, Victoria is the last floater standing.
 8. Zach – Zach was totally the target last week and his outbursts put a HUGE target on him. However he is in the boys alliance and they don’t mind his outbursts now because it keeps the target off him. Plus, don’t we all love Zankie?
 8. Zach – Yeah, a lot of people are annoyed with you right now, but I don’t think you’re really a threat to win. The person everyone should be worried about going to the finals with is one spot below you.
 9. Donny –  Donny is not in a good spot he really has no alliance and while he kicks butt at vetos and has been able to save him self now 3 times he still doesn’t have the numbers and no one can win every competition. He’s a member of Team America so hopefully that will keep him safe, even though Derrick is trying to convince Frankie he’s not with them. 😦
  9. Donny – You’ve got to win POV, Donny. It’s your only hope.

 1. Frankie – As reigning HOH Frankie is safest this week and the house loves him right now! No one even thinks about getting him out!
  1. Frankie – A rough week for Frankie with the loss of his grandfather. But, it seems like the other houseguests are a good support system for him. The question now is; does he follow through with Zach’s plan to backdoor Amber? I’m thinking he shouldn’t because with Christine thinking of jumping ship, the Detonators need to keep Caleb and Amber happy.
 2. Zach – Frankie’s BFF and the other HOH is safe this week even though Team America makes him look like a jerk at the nomination ceremony and let the power go to his head. No one in the house would dare try to get Frankie to re-nom or back door his HOH BFF! Zach is letting power go to his head.   2. Christine – Kudos to you for not biting when Zach and his attack tried to rile you up at the nomination ceremony. But you’ve got to appreciate that the reign of the Detonators is rapidly coming to an end. It’s time for you to cash in on your Nicole/Hayden alliance and team up with the stragglers and take control.
 3. Nicole – Nicole and Christine are safe since they won the BOTB. I am hoping that both Nicole and Christine see that they are at the bottom of the boys’ alliance and step up and start to realize that if they don’t make a move soon they are the next targets!
  3. Nicole – What was going on after your nomination? I’ve never heard such a perfect balance of laughing and crying. It was unsettling. Anywho, you’re as safe as the “Big Brother” ghost in non-existent.

 4. Christine – Christine is SO SO SO SO DUMB calling Amber out to the boys, it makes no sense that she trusts them in an alliance. Christine is also a dummy for talking too much, she could use this cards shes been dealt and hang out but she’s getting herself in trouble!
  4. Derrick – Nobody is playing a better game than Derrick. He isn’t making waves, he’s talking to everyone, the person who should be angriest with him is now spending time with his daughter. But, it isn’t smooth sailing for our Hitmen…
 5. Derrick – Derrick is acting as the head of the Detonators, Frankie is BFF with him and they have a lot in common. There is no way they would even consider him.
  5. Cody – …I’m mainly thinking about how Zach blew up the Detonators a little too early when he nominated Christine. It might be smart to team with Christine, Nicole, and Hayden as the house’s new dominant clique.
 6. Cody – Cody is part of their boys’ alliance and nice to look at, so Frankie doesn’t want to get rid of him. Cody and Frankie are bros and it’s too early for them to target their power alliance.
  6. Zach – Alright, broski…I’m not sure where I can get my copy of the “Big Brother Dictionary” but I’m pretty sure next to the entry for “Person Playing for 2nd Place” there’s a picture of the Zach Attack. These people have to vote for the winner, right? I’m understanding this correctly? Also, that little thing they keep clipping to your body is a microphone. You don’t have to yell.
 7. Hayden – Hayden is safe again somehow – I like this guy and almost find myself rooting for him more since he’s not in the boys’ alliance and they aren’t targeting him. I mean HELLLLLO he’s a boy that could go head to head with most of these boys and they would rather keep him over someone in their own alliance. REALLY, “BIG BROTHER” HOUSE, REALLY?
  7. Hayden – What do you doooooooooo? You’re like “Survivor: Nicaragua’s’ Fabio except without all of the entertaining injuries.
 8. Donny – Donny is the nicest guy in the house and WE LOVE HIM! I think everyone loves him but the HOH in power always wants to nominate him. They don’t want to get rid of him but they want to put him on the block as a pawn! I want to see Donny as HOH!
 8. Caleb – I’m not going to lie; it did my nerd heart good to see someone as good-looking and ripped as Caleb have such a horrible date. Welcome to my world, cowboy. That being said, it is a little messed up that Amber would do that to you. Don’t tease the poor guy.
 9. Caleb –  Caleb is at the bottom of the boys’ alliance and they always talk about getting him out. However, the boys also know he’s loyal and think that it may be to early to get him out and he’s so obsessed with Amber he’s not thinking about the game, he couldn’t care less. If they got rid of Amber they wouldn’t even have to do anything, Caleb wouldn’t know what to do with his life.
  9. Amber – Zach had the right idea about backdooring Amber, but it’s a bit too soon. If Amber truly believes there’s a conspiracy against her, she needs to start getting the stragglers together.
 10. Amber – Amber is in danger with these boys in power and in this “Big Brother” house the girls are dropping like flies. The boys love to try to get rid of Amber because she is not in their alliance and she has won a competition and for some reason they think she is a physical threat.
  10. Donny – Nobody will beat Donny if he gets to the end. That’s a fact. They should have sent him home a long time ago. (Although I hope they don’t. He’s adorable.)
 11. Victoria – Well…I think we all feel the same way about this one… SOME ONE PLEASE JUST GET HER OUT ALREADY! She won’t step up and try to make an alliance with any of the girls and she won’t at least play a strategic game. I mean really, let’s just have Team America vote her out at this point.
 11. Jocasta – Don’t be fooled by the tie that I got. I’m just, I’m just Jocasta from the block.
 12. Jocasta – Jocasta should be safe this week. Even on the block she shouldn’t be a target since she hasn’t done anything and makes people less mad then Victoria, Christine, and Amber.Side Note: At this point if one of the girls doesn’t step up and notice…HELLO…there is clearly a huge boys’ alliance and they are strong and in power then I may have to root for the girls to keep going home just for being horrible game players!
 12. Victoria – What do I even say about Victoria? She doesn’t do anything until she’s nominated. Then she gets mad. Is anyone close enough to her to save her with the POV? Doubtful. Could she win it herself? Maybe. But those are long odds.

 1. Cody – As HOH this week Cody is safest, however if he doesn’t use his HOH to his advantage it could really hurt his game in the future since we are seeing Cody start to come out of his shell and really play the game. People could start to get scared quickly!
  1. Cody – Cody’s having an uneventful run as HOH, which is probably the best kind of run to have. His two nominees have no pull in the house, so it’s doubtful that any of the heat will come back to haunt him. But the question remains; if Victoria or Brittany win POV, does he try to take out Caleb?
 2. Frankie – Frankie is safe because in this “Big Brother” house the HOH pairs don’t go after each other. Well go figure at this point in the game and in the next few weeks they may want to start to go after their HOH partner. Spice it up a little and make the BOTB count!   2. Amber – The physical threat proved her prowess by walking in L shapes and flipping tiles. She’s like the Ozzy Lusth of “Big Brother.”
 3. Amber – We are all confused how the boys view Amber as a bigger physical threat then Caleb, Hayden, or Zach… We note that she has saved herself every week with the Battle of the Block so good for her!
  3. Jocasta – What the what was going on during the Battle of the Block?! Was she speaking in tongues? Whatever it was, it didn’t look healthy. If she gets this worked up over a relaxing game of chess, imagine if she was playing something exciting like Scrabble.

 4. Jocasta – Jocasta didn’t make the best moves in the game of chess but she at least had to step up and play something. THAT’S WHY WE’RE OBSESSED WITH THIS TWIST!
  4. Frankie – Frankie’s teams keep dropping the Battle of the Block competitions, and I think that’s exactly how he likes it. Let the Calebs and Codys (Codies?) of the world deal with the backlash of sending someone to their doom.
 5. Derrick – Derrick is clearly BFF with Cody, he is in their Detonators alliance… (where do they think of these names?) and he isn’t in danger of the boys turning on him since he’s formed genuine friendships with them. The power hasn’t really shifted at all this season yet but once it does I think Derrick will have to play a better hand since he is feeling a bit too safe to be playing “Big Brother.”
  5. Derrick – Derrick’s backdoor elimination of Devin went off without a hitch. (Hey, look at me using terms like “Backdoor” like a real “Big Brother” expert!) Now he gets to sit back and let his Detonator buddies do some of the dirty work.
 6. Christine – Christine is safe because she’s the last one standing in the Detonators alliance. She’s totally the Brittney to their Brigade and I think she knows it at this point so she may be able to use this to her advantage to get her far. Right now she can’t win HOH because she has too many cards with too many groups of people in the house and is in almost every alliance!
  6. Christine – I love how she magically finds herself in all of the dominant alliances. She just seems trustworthy. Hopefully she can keep that illusion going until she can find a way to flip the game.
 7. Nicole – Their cute lil’ blossoming showmance isn’t putting anyone in the house off since they are targeting Brittney, Amber, Jocasta, and Victoria over these two.
  7. Zach – Zach’s solidly in the Detonator alliance, but he certainly has a bit of a loose cannon vibe about him. He and Cody are close enough that I think he’s super safe this week, but if I were a Detonator I’d be keeping an eye on him.
 8. Hayden – Yes, we’re confused why the boys in an ALLIANCE aren’t targeting one of the only boys NOT in the alliance???? Nobody seems to think of these two as threats so they must be playing a good game.
 8. Nicole – You and Hayden are completely aboreable. Zzz…
 9. Caleb – Caleb is still on Cody’s radar but Cody isn’t sure if it’s the right time to get him out…which is smart because Caleb is still working with them. The “Big Brother” Love Triangle may start to make waves in the house however, and Caleb may get really upset that Amber is locking herself in the room with Cody. (What a vixen! Hehe…)  Caleb and Cody are so going head to head we just all wonder when!
  9. Hayden – See Nicole.
 10. Zach – Zach is friends with Cody but has a big mouth and thinks he’s an evil genius. His best move would be to just sit back and let the Detonators explode and showmance with Frankie but Zach is acting like he’s bored and wants some action. Then win an HOH, sir.  But calm down, you’re playing “Big Brother”!
  10. Donny – If I’m in the house right now, Donny is my number one target. He’s just too likable. Give him too much time and he’ll be able to make something out of the non-Detonators. (Deto-no-tors?)
 11. Donny – Donny is down here because he’s not in the Detonators and he’s always mentioned as a BOTB player or as a replacement nom. I don’t think the house would vote Donny out, but you can only be a pawn so many times!  We don’t know what we would do if Donny went home. Would love to see Donny as HOH! He’s just so adorable!
 11. Caleb – Cody and Amber are going to hook up. They’re always cuddling up or touching each other. And yeah, you can say you’re over her, but nobody is buying it. If Victoria or Brittany manage to claim the POV medallion, Cody should send the “Beast Mode Cowboy” packing. It’s the best move for his game and his love life.
 12. Victoria – With bedgate and attitude, Victoria is rubbing some girls the wrong way. We actually didn’t know who she was until bedgate since she somehow has not been on the show at all for what feels like weeks. This can only mean that she’s not doing anything interesting. If she went I don’t think we would even notice?
 12. Victoria – OK, if I’m Cody, here’s what I’m thinking. I figure out which of the two nominees the Detonators want to vote for. Then, I go to the safe person and tell them they’re in danger, but I’m going to do what I can to keep them around. Victoria is harmless. She isn’t going to make any waves. That’s why I think Brittany is a goner.
 13. Brittany – WE LOVE HER but we also HATE that she told some of the boys she was over it. Recruit or not, you’re here to win $500k. I personally have had my ups and downs in “Big Brother,” but even when I said I was over it, I never was. And we are worried that she is actually over it.  We don’t know why everyone wants to target her but she’s become an easy target for the boys to go after and they try every week! We think she’s in HOT WATER this week if she doesn’t win veto. I imagine that “Big Brother” can’t be harder then raising three kids, Britt. So, put your bun up, get into fierce mode, and be in it to win it!
 13. Brittany – You can only be on the block so many times before you get a one-on-one interview with Julie Chen. It probably doesn’t help when you insult he sitting HOH.

‘Big Brother’ Power Rankings – Battle of the Blockhead Edition

July 15, 2014

'Big Brother' (CBS)

The Rules: Each week our two combatants will create separate power rankings. The ranking of the person who is voted out of the next episode will determine the number of points the two players will earn. For example, if Donny is voted out this week, Rachel will receive 3 points and Gordon will receive 2 points. At the end of the season, the person with the most points will be named the “Big Brother” Power Rankings Challenge Champion!

[xfinity-record-button id=”5666923899412353112″ program_type=”series”]

Last Week: Rachel called it, she had Paola in spot fifteen. Gordon has Paola in spot fourteen. So, the current score is Team Rachel 28, Team Gordon 27.

Quick Note: “Big Brother” is always going on. These Rankings were handed in Monday.

Rachel’s Score = 28

Gordon’s Score = 27

 1. Derrick – As reigning HOH Derrick is safe this week, he even had one of his allies volunteer to go on the block for him. So, he only had to get blood on his hands with one houseguest. His back-door-Devin plan makes the house happy and no one thinks of this as a crazy HOH week. Question is; is Derrick using his HOH to make his game better or to do what the house wants?
  1. Derrick – Derrick’s having a near-perfect week. His plan to send Devin packing can only be derailed by a Devin Power of Veto win. He’s having a blast with his Team America buddies. And, he doesn’t have to wear a frog outfit.
 2. Nicole – This cute small-town girl is showing us that she is not only a fan but has a few wins up her sleeve, we expect to see a lot from this one. She nominates Donny last minute and feels badly about it and cries to him, he says it’s OK and then they make an alliance. Way to turn your cards in your favor!   2. Donny – Donny’s gotta be the guy everyone’s afraid to go to the end with. He’s fun, he’s funny, he’s sweet, but he can’t stick around forever. For now he’s safe, but they’ve got to keep an eye on him.
 3. Donny – Donny is on NO ONE’S radar and he’s everyone’s BFF! He has an alliance with the people not in the bomb squad so he wont be caught in the drama!
  3. Amber – Am I a bad person for really hoping that Amber has a serious boyfriend waiting for her on the outside? Either way, she’s super safe. The fallout of the destruction of the Bomb Squad will probably take out Caleb and Devin, but she should be able to slink away.

 4. Amber – I think Amber is losing her game with the girls since she’s growing closer to the boys everyday. She needs to grab some girls or other allies on her side ASAP or she’s going to be on the outs of the house.
  4. Hayden – The good news: You’re invited into the big alliance! The bad news: The big alliance is crumbling. But, no harm, no foul. Nobody’s worried about Hayden.
 5. Frankie – Frankie is BFF with everyone and very charming. He’s in the bomb squad but he’s also distancing himself so he won’t get caught in the fire.
  5. Frankie – Wait a minute…that guy’s eyes and mouth look just like teen singing sensation Ariana Grande! I know Frankie was one of the heavy hitters in the Bomb Squad, but he’s likable enough that he should be able to move on without too much heat.
 6. Christine – Christine is good with Nicole and Hayden and in with the boys. She seems to be gaming we just want to see her step up her game in a competition.
  6. Amber – Superman has kyptonite, the Green Lantern has the color yellow, and Devin has people who have kids. Weird, right? Anywho, I was sure Brittany was a goner last week. But I guess with all the time between nominations and the actual vote, there’s plenty of time for people’s minds to be changed.
 7. Cody – Cody is part of the bomb squad and also BFF with all the boys! All the girls love him and there’s NO WAY he would be considered as a veto replacement.
  7. Zach – You dodged a bullet last week, my bro-tastic friend. And, I’m betting that your nemesis Devin is on his way out of the house. What’re your next steps? Who can you trust?
 8. Zach – Zach is part of the bomb squad and also friends with Derrick. There would be no reason for Derrick to backdoor Zach.
 8. Christine – Great move by Christine on outing the Bomb Squad to her buddies before it caused them not to trust her. Whatever alliance ends up taking the lead now, I’m betting Christine will be near the top of it.
 9. Brittany – Brittany shouldn’t be put up as a replacement since she’s friends with Derrick and the boys seem to like her. Brittney still seems to not really have an alliance in the house but we see her gravitating towards Jocasta and Donny. This should keep her in the house longer since no one is going to target them.   9. Nicole – Nicole, you’ve got to put on your big girl pants and start playing like an adult. No more crying when you put “Duck Dynasty” extras up on the block. No more worrying about the ghost that haunts the CBS sound stage. Suck it up!
 10. Victoria – Is Victoria on this show? We’re all confused…where she’s been?
  10. Cody – Smart, likable, in shape, under-the-radar…he’s exactly who I’d be trying to get rid of at this point. I wonder if anyone else realizes that…
 11. Hayden – Hayden is probably safe this week but if Derrick was playing the game for himself he should use the veto to put Hayden up. Hayden isn’t in Derrick’s alliance and Hayden isn’t friends with him, so it would make a lot of sense to put Hayden up and vote out a strong guy! I like Hayden and especially with Nicole but if Derrick wants to win the game he’s got to eliminate the competition!
 11. Victoria – If she was on “Survivor,” I’m thinking they’d be calling her “Purple Victoria.”
 12. Jocasta – Jocasta should be safe this week. Even on the block she shouldn’t be a target since she hasn’t done anything and is friends with most everyone in the house.
 12. Jocasta – She’s like Pow Pow Part Deux. And like Pow Pow, she’s probably not the real target.
 13. Caleb – Caleb volunteered to be on the block this week and then THREW THE BOB so he should go home just because of that. It blows my mind he THREW the BOB for Amber when she doesn’t even like him…you’re not being a gentleman or a hero you’re just being DUMB! You’re on the “Big Brother” Caleb not a dating show.
 13. Caleb – Welp, I put myself on the block and threw a challenge for you. Now you’re going to have to marry me. Seriously, I haven’t seen an unrequited love this sad since Steve Urkel was putting the moves on Laura Winslow.
 14. Devin – Devin, Devin, Devin…what are they going to do with this one? The SMART game move for Derrick would be to keep Devin in the game so there’s a target in the house and Devin isn’t going after Derrick! SO FOR THE HOH it’s a win-win. Plus, Derrick should just get rid of Hayden since he is a strong guy too and likeable!
 14. Devin – OK, I’m fuzzy on the rules. Can Devin volunteer to perform in the Power of Veto competition? If not, that’s kind of messed up that he doesn’t get a chance to protect himself. That being said, it looks like he’s a goner unless he can claim that cool Ghostbuster-esque necklace.

‘Big Brother’ Power Rankings – The Devin Made Me Do It Edition

July 8, 2014

'Big Brother' (CBS)

The Rules: Each week our two combatants will create separate power rankings. The ranking of the person who is voted out of the next episode will determine the number of points the two players will earn. For example, if Donny is voted out this week, Rachel will receive 9 points and Gordon will receive 4 points. At the end of the season, the person with the most points will be named the “Big Brother” Power Rankings Challenge Champion!

[xfinity-record-button id=”5666923899412353112″ program_type=”series”]

Last Week: Rachel and Gordon both had Joey in spot thirteen. So, the current score is Team Rachel 13, Team Gordon 13.

Before we get into this week’s action, let’s check in with our two competitors…

Gordon Holmes: Now that we have the first elimination under our belts, how are you feeling?
Rachel Reilly: I was confused at first with how the game would play out, but now I REALLY love all the twists and changes! I love that there are two HOHs and four nominees, it really forces people to game it up! I also love the Battle of the Block competition, it’s like having a second veto in play. If you don’t win HOH you almost want to be nominated so that you have two chances to save yourself and no chance to get back doored! I would love to play in a game like this because there is basically a game-related competition every day! It also is exciting as a viewer to watch!

Holmes: We have Battles of the Block, Powers of Vetoes, and now Team Americas. “Big Brother” is so confusing!
Reilly: At first I was confused too… but I just started to look at all the opportunities and all the new gaming that people have to do and got excited!
Holmes: Any tips for me so I can stay on top of it all?
Reilly: For a “Survivor” expert like yourself, I think to understand what’s going on you have use your “Survivor” knowledge and look at the first part like that… there’s two HoHs – kinda like two tribes…four people are nominated for eviction… then the four play to win the Battle of the Block (kinda like a “Survivor” challenge the losing team has to vote someone out of their tribe, in “Big Brother” the losing team has to stay on the block). BUT unlike “Survivor” the losing team gets to play for another chance to stay in the house called Power of Veto! POV is like having an immunity idol every week but even better because there’s a new chance to win one every week!
Holmes: That’s actually a pretty solid analogy. But, I don’t quite get Team America yet.
Reilly: I don’t think any of us really know what Team America means yet… but I think once we find out it will be very fun challenges and tasks, and that will come later!

Holmes: So, the last time we saw you was in the “Amazing Race” finale. What’ve you been up to since then?
Reilly: Currently I am hosting and producing a show called “Reality Relapse” on Bite Size TV! YAY I LOVE IT! We talk about all things reality TV (my fav. subject). We cover the hottest gossip, events, red carpets, premieres, and we interview your favorite reality celebs as well as interviewing producers, cast, and everyone involved with your favorite reality TV shows! I also just was cast in two indie movies filming later this year so I’m working on my actressing skills.

Quick Note: “Big Brother” is always going on. These Rankings were handed in Monday.

 1. Devin – Reigning HOH and “I’m in charge-Power HUNGRY” mentality, Devin will be the most safe this week.  The bomb squad alliance is happy he’s in power, but they are all worried that they don’t know what he’s going to do. He lets the power get to him and gushes all his feelings in house meetings and basically throws his alliance under the bus and basically calls out his alliance to the house. Therefore he’s probably going to be a target next week…or the smart houseguests would keep a target in the house! WE WILL SEE!
  1. Devin – Let’s make this clear, Devin…you are only tops on the list because you have immunity. This week has been a train wreck for you. You seem like a bit of a Russell Hantz to me where your strategic logic is sound, but your social game is a disaster. You need to take it easy and show people your less intense side. You do have a less intense side, don’t you?
 2. Hayden – Since they won Battle of the Block this week, they can’t be voted out and can still play in the next HOH! Were not always sure what Hayden is talking about but we love him and this cute budding showmance! Plus they are always smiling and haven’t let being nominated or the house bring them down.    2. Nicole – Yeah, you’re safe, but the ghost thing is weird. You’re an adult. And you’re on a sound stage. Sigh…I dunno. Maybe Zingbot can bring you a proton pack.
 3. Nicole – See Hayden.
  3. Hayden – “Big Brother” may be confusing with its many twists and turns, but at least the top three names on the Power Rankings are pretty easy to figure out.

 4. Amber – Amber is safe this week since Devin is her BFF and she lets him make all her HOH moves. She’s competitive and we all love a competitive woman, but then allows the boys to control her HOH thinking she’s in an alliance with them! She even says she just wanted to see a pic of her family. Trust us…we get it, girl…but ya came to win “Big Brother” not just win pictures of your family, RIGHT? I hope she doesn’t turn out to be the Brittney of the ‘BRO-gade’ Bomb Squad!
  4. Donny – I love me some Donny. And I’m pretty sure Devin’s group meeting will keep him from putting Donny up for eviction if Paola or Brittany manage to win their way off of the block.
 5. Caleb – Caleb is seen with the HOH all week either being used as his puppy or just in every meeting that Devin has. Question we all want to know is; is Caleb sitting in on the meetings because he wants to know what’s going down or because he feels like he needs to keep an eye on Devin?
  5. Caleb – Caleb and Amber sitting in a tree…T-A-L-K-I-N-G. First comes awkwardness, then comes a polite yet firm denial of affection. Then comes Caleb continuing to think of ways to introduce Amber to his parents. (OK, that didn’t come close to rhyming.) What does this mean for Caleb’s game? Who knows? But I believe “Survivor’s” Malcolm Freberg put it best when he warned against getting “Booty blinded.”
 6. Derrick – Derrick is also part of the bomb squad and in pretty good with Devin, we even see Devin going to Derrick for help and advice, meaning he trusts him.
  6. Amber – Devin would be crazy to put Amber up after a veto. First, because she’s a solid Bomb Squad member and stuck to the plan. And second, because Caleb would kill him dead.
 7. Christine – Christine is now an honorary member of the bomb squad and also is BFF with most of the houseguests and in an alliance with Hayden and Nicole.
  7. Derrick – Good to see Derrick sticking to his guns (no pun intended) when the idea of putting a Bomb Squader on the block was floated. Dude’s in a great position with Devin and Caleb getting all of the attention.
 8. Frankie – Frankie is in the bomb squad and also not making any crazy waves with anyone in the house.
 8. Frankie – Much better this week, Frankie. You’re a main member of the Bomb Squad, but you can hang back and be nice to everyone while Devin and Caleb take all the bullets. My only concern for you is this weird thing with Zach. What’s his angle?
 9. Donny – Donny is not in the bomb squad but Devin feels badly that he wanted him out of the house and Donny is just so darn likeable that no one wants to target him!   9. Christine – Learn from Joey, Christine. Don’t let anyone in the Bomb Squad know about the side misfit alliance you have going on. If you play your cards right, you can keep Nicole and Hayden safe long enough to make some noise.
 10. Cody – Cody is part of the bomb squad and also BFF with all the boys! He’s becoming close friends with Brittany and Devin is into him so it’s unlikely he would be considered as a veto replacement.
  10. Zach – Zach seems pretty harmless at this point, but the faux showmance (fauxmance?) with Frankie might raise some flags. If he’s not interested in Frankie as a partner, then what’s his angle? And worse, what if Frankie’s feelings get hurt?
 11. Zach – Zach is part of the bomb squad and also BFF with Frankie who is in with Devin. However, if Zach steps on the wrong toes and Devin makes a move to get out a bomb squad member Zach would be the first to go.
 11. Cody – I feel like Cody is playing the kind of game I’d be playing out there (minus the muscles). Stay socially strong while the alpha males make all the moves. My only worry for Cody? Devin and Caleb might figure out what he’s doing.
 12. Jocasta – She should be pretty safe this week but we don’t really see her at all in the episodes. Most likely because she is not making moves, waves and is not being considered for eviction! This is the thing with Jocasta and 15 houseguests, she’s laying low but that’s all she really needs to do! There’s STILL 15 people in the house and she has NO reason to ruffle feathers this early on! Devin wouldn’t consider her to go up and that means she’s playing a pretty good social game!
 12. Victoria – Uh…you’re still on this show.
 13. Victoria – We don’t really see her a lot this week in the episodes, which means she doesn’t have a lot going on. However due to her not being in the bomb squad and the fact that her alliance is herself and maybe she talks to a few houseguests… She has been rubbing some of the people the wrong way, so there’s a chance when asked that Victoria’s name as a nominee replacement, if one is played, would come up.
 13. Jocasta – If Brittany or Paola manage to win their way off of the block, there aren’t a ton of targets left for the Bomb Squad. That’s the problem with having 40 people in your alliance.
 14. Brittany – Brittany is on my list to make it far in the game! If she can make the house her puppet she will stay this week. She just needs to convince a few people to vote for her. I wouldn’t count this hot mom out for a minute! She’s tough, she’s fighting for a cause and she’s very composed under pressure! She’s one tough cookie and grows on this former houseguest every week! I kinda love her! Being nominated twice in the first 2 weeks and being on slop hasn’t brought her down, in fact it’s starting to make her more outspoken! GET IT, GIRL! If she can make it through this week I think she will continue to go far in the game. Plus she’s using her place on the block to make new friends and create alliances.
 14. Paola – What an interesting role Paola finds herself in. She’s terrible at challenges and not terribly offensive. She’s the perfect person to pair with the person you want to send packing.
 15. Paola – Pow Pow has to be careful since she is on the block AGAIN! One wrong move and she may just piss some people in the house off and go home. She agreed to Devin’s deal to throw the competition but she did it in a way that seems very obvious that she’s throwing the competition. Which could out her deal with Devin and actually make her a target in the house. Pow’s best move this week would be to get Devin use the veto on her OR to nominate a person that she knows will 100% go home and not a gamble like Brittney… Try to turn Devin on the boys that would be an EPIC MOVE!
 15. Brittany – The bad news? You’re one of two people on the block. The worse news? You’re not Paola. If you lose the Power of the Veto competition, you’re heading home. And, that’ll make Devin happy. And, that will make me sad.
